It looks like some tacky aftermarket stuff someone would put on the car 15 years of depreciation from now.
Other than that, this looks like a damn good car. And while I’m still highly disappointed in how BMW interiors feel as a whole, the 760 I parked last night does prove BMW can do a decent interior every once in a while.

Is that literally the same V12 badge as the W140 S600

I thought having M-badges on it would be enough. Apparently not.

That’s so they can charge more to debadge it.

The C-pillar has a V12 engine. I don’t see anything wrong here.

I assume the other side has one too.
Thats 24 cylinders in just in the C-Pillars. Absolutely incredible engineering from the Germans there.

Wouldn’t see it while I drive (or am driven in) my Bavarian barge and honking the horn at all the poor peasants

It’s always a free option, even on Porsches

I thought it was a 5 series at first and got all excited about a V12 5 series

It’s to let all the peasants know that they bought the more expensive and powerful one, because peasants (not counting car enthusiasts or maybe some) wouldn’t know the difference form your regular pleb 7-series ;)

You don’t want to know where they will put that badge on the “sure we know Grand Touring is useless, but we don’t trust you to buy a cool-ass wagon” model.

My BMW dealer tried to charge me for recall work a few weeks ago, so forgive me for not fully believing you.

I won’t forgive you
